Age Verification Policy

1) 18+ requirement

Our Services are intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, access, or play. While Volcanic Spins is a social gaming product (virtual coins/credits with no cash-out), we apply an 18+ age restriction to help prevent minors from engaging with gambling-style content. Note: legal minimum ages for regulated gambling activities in New Zealand can vary by product and venue.

2) How we age-gate and verify age

• Age gate at sign-up: we require date of birth and a confirmation that you are 18+.
• Ongoing checks: we may use risk signals (e.g., account behaviour, payment method/ownership where applicable, device signals, or support interactions) to detect potential underage use.

• Virtual coins/credits and in-game items have no monetary value and are not redeemable; where accounts are closed for underage use, balances may be forfeited.
• We may retain limited records as required for security, dispute handling, and legal compliance.

4) Guidance for parents/guardians

• Do not share devices, app store credentials, or passwords with children.
• Use device-level parental controls and age ratings on app stores/browsers.
• If you believe a minor has accessed our Services, contact us so we can investigate and take action.

5) Enforcement

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that breach this policy or our Terms, including where age information is false, verification is refused, or underage access is suspected.
